Bleeding

  • Type: Affliction
  • Cost: Physical, Optional Story Point
  • Description: When the character sheds blood, the wounds inflicted do not recover, and continue to bleed for some time. This ability must be invoked as part of an unarmed attack which sheds blood, usually done using nails, teeth, or claws. If the attack is a success, the victim suffers the temporary Complication Bleeding, indicating that the character is suffering open wounds which will not heal for the scene. This Complication increases the strength of all injury-based Complications by one, causing a temporary wound to inflict a -3 penalty instead of a -2, and an Ongoing injury to inflict a -2 penalty instead of a -1. Invoking this Condition does not remove it.
