Illumination

The character draws a glow from the ether, illumination the area surrounding the character, or draws light from the region, and plunges it into darkness. The character can choose to make only certain regions in the area brighter or darker, or plunge the entire region into brilliance or darkness. The brilliance or darkness can hurt the eyes of those in the region, inflicting a penalty up to the character’s Growth. Attempting to blind others requires the character to make a Spiritual + Awareness roll. Anyone in the area chosen who has a Defence less than the successes rolled are caught in the area and suffer the penalty.
